Mella CMS user guide
A guide for the people who write and manage a site with Mella CMS: how to sign in, write posts and pages, handle pictures, read messages and change the design. It is written for people who are not programmers, and every step has a picture.
The pictures come from a demo site (Harbour Café). Numbers in orange circles on a picture are explained in the text next to it.

Where to start
- I write articles: read chapters 1, 3 and 6. Chapter 4 is a reference for the editor.
- I look after the whole site: add chapters 5, 7 and 8.
- I am the administrator: read everything, especially 9 to 13.
- Something does not work: go straight to chapter 15.
How to read the pictures
- An orange outline and a number on a picture point at a part of the screen. The text below the picture explains the numbers in order.
- A grey quote (
>) is a tip or a warning. - Bold words are the names of buttons and menu items exactly as you see them on screen.
